A portrayal of what women POWs endured in World War II, after the Japanese took over the Malay Peninsula. Christmas and a new baby arrive which help to raise the spirits of the women prisoners. However, this is soon changed when the Japanese officer in charge demands that the young women be handed over so as to be used as prostitutes.
