Western following a group of farmers in a post-Civil War Texas. Former army officer Quell and his fellow homesteaders are eager to begin a new life. Trouble brews, however, when vicious land owner Kirk starts to mistreat the peope of Eagle Gap. The group become determined to rid the town of the malevolent baron in any way possible.
